CONCEPT AND LOGO MEANING
The letter ‘J’ does not actually stand for Japan but is a a Japanese slang that sounds like the letter ‘J’ meaning along the line of “It’s golf or, this is golf”.
The alphabet J uses calligraphy stroke to give that oriental feel and also it resembles a golfer making a golf swing.
The alphabet ‘o’ in Golf symbolize The Japan National flag hence the red color used. The ‘o’ is also a golf ball that is entering the hole after a good putt and with the red also signifies the rising sun.
